Top tacos. Love catching them at Highland Park on Friday nights, I always order too many tacos - but never regret it. Their vegan options are so good, I highly recommend the potato, cauliflower -- but my very favorite is the eggplant con queso and add mole*. Someone recommended to me once, and it's all I get. Tonight they forgot my mole but quickly corrected it. Need more people to hop on board the eggplant and mole train so it's more of an established thing! Tastes like candy, strikes an odd but super satisfying combo of an Italian-inspired eggplant parm with a Mexican twist.
They're always expanding their menu. Every time I see the truck they have more and more vegan options. Tonight they were featuring *new* vegan nachos, so of course I had to try, with a choice of vegan meat. The chips weren't my favorite as they weren't traditional nacho chips (they were rounded, probably store purchase) but the beans were delicious, there was a hefty serving of nacho cheese, and the vegan meat was delish.
Prices are fair and quality is great. Employees are so, so sweet. Great to support, and definitely one to keep an eye on, they're doing it right.
*mole contains nuts! -

This is the best taco truck in town. I literally crave their "carne asada" tacos and burritos. It's reasonably priced, staff is super friendly, food comes out quickly, and all around good experience.
Definitely try the Ror burrito (everything burrito) it's a little pricey but definitely worth it.
They only thing I wish is that theyd open up earlier so I can get their food more often.
I wish I could give this place infinite stars. -

Damn Gina. If this is vegan, sign me up! These tacos were phenomenal and I want more already. I had the Chile relleno taco with mole and the cauliflower with mole. Outstanding! I mean make you reconsider your top 3 favorite tacos kind of good. The mole is dark and slightly spicy. The cauliflower was perfectly charred and the Chile was crispy and perfectly filled with cheese or some cheese sub that fooled me!
My son had the papas con soy-rizo and those were good too, although I would have lived for the papas to be left to char a bit so there would be some crunch. The consistency was too mushy and starchy.
Overall fantastic flavors and generous portions. Well done folks, well done. -

Hands down the best vegan food that's graced my mouth. I could die happy now thank you.

Stopped here while we were hanging at Block Party. Thank goodness you were there for us La Tehuanita!
MUST ORDER: the burnt cheese Asada taco w/beef. I am dreaming of this tasty goodness. Get it just the way it comes. They know what they are doing. Seriously, it is SO good. I wish they came to the valley!!
Also, an hour or so later I came out of the bar and the woman who works in the truck (I think her name was Janelle), waved and said bye and remembered my name! It was so sweet and such a nice touch.
Can't wait to eat here again and try more menu items!
